Why don’t you broadcast Christian English programming all day long?
The Indonesian Broadcasting Authorities have a policy on the percentage of foreign language programming that is allowed on their commercial radio stations – no more than 10% of the total air time. Which means a 24-hour station may only have 2.4hours of foreign language programming, and English is considered a foreign language.
Was 107FM previously 105.5FM?

How come I can’t hear anything when I tune to 107FM?
OK, first, do you mean that there’s no sound coming from your radio? Or that you do hear music and talk, but it’s not English Christian programming?
Oddly enough, our signal comes through stronger on car radios than home systems. The transmitter tower is located on an island slightly south of Batam, and radio signals being the finicky things they are, sometimes don’t like traveling too long over the sea, or getting interrupted by bad weather, or having generators fail on them.
We’ve tried increasing the power of the signal but the locals living on the island started receiving our station through their TV sets. While some may consider that a wonderful evangelistic opportunity, the locals would beg to disagree.
