Pinoy Lah is a one hour Filipino magazine program that entertains, informs and inspires its listeners. The program aims to bring hope, peace, joy and relief, particularly to both Christian and Non-Christian Overseas Filipino Workers & Migrants in Singapore.

The objective of Bagong Pinoy is to provide a “guide to life” for its listeners, by giving hope and direction through bible based and true-to-life inspirational stories. It is a unique program style which satisfies listeners’ expectations and enables them to feel at HOME, wherever they are.

Bagong Pinoy content includes family, community building, news & information, history & culture and OPMs (Original Pilipino Music).

Presenter Biographies:

Scriptwriter and Host, Mr. Jose D. Cruz, Jr (aka Kuya Jose) is best known as Brother Jun. Kuya Jose, is an alumnus of Notre Dame De Manila, attaining his Bachelor’s Degree B.S. Accountancy at the University of the East and completing his graduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila (Computer & Information Technology Center). Kuya Jose is from Malabon, Rizal, Philippines. His parents originated from Arayat, Pampanga and Batac, Ilocos Norte.

Co-host, Mdm Salvacion A. Cruz (aka Ate Sahlee) fondly called Sister Sahlee, is a native of Mahaplag, Leyte, Phils. She is a Dietitian by profession.
This husband & wife team can have been married for 30-years and have are blessed with five children, two of whom are already married. They have lived Saudi Arabia for 10-years and this marks their 17th year in the Republic of Singapore.

Kuya Jose and Ate Sahlee are volunteer workers for Bagong Pinoy Program of Studio Elpizo. Their desire is to be a blessing to many, particularly to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) & Migrants in Singapore. They believe in their calling is to be servants of servant leaders. Both are Christ-centered, purpose-driven and results-oriented individuals.
